Why Therapeutic Massage? Stress is part of our reality as human beings. Many people are preventing disease through a holistic health consciousness, while improving their overall vitality and well-being by getting regular massage. Massage accelerates an overall improvement in physical health and quality of life. It helps to integrate body and mind, relax the musculo-skeletal system, and increase body awareness. It can stimulate or alternately calm the nervous system, help to ease tension, stiffness and pain leaving you with an enhanced sense of well-being. I strongly encourage you to have regular treatments to maintain harmony and balance, and prevent illness by preventing the accumulation of future stress.

If you have never experienced a therapeutic massage before, now is definitely the time to get one. Being a massage junkie myself, I find it difficult to imagine why anybody would not want to get a massage anytime, anyplace, for any reason or for no reason at all. Touch is a simple means of communication, and we all crave it. The comfort, warmth and reassurance of touch can improve the body’s well being by stimulating its own natural healing abilities giving a sense of peace, restoring both the physical and psychological self.

Each person is unique and seeks a different experience from massage. For some, this may be to lie quietly and really feel the effects of my nurturing touch. Others may have muscular aches and pains that they would like relieved. Some prefer silence; others like to talk.
